Free birth chart calculator

Calculate a complete tropical birth chart with planets, houses, aspects and a readable chart wheel. Private, free and calculated in your browser.

A birth chart brings several layers together: the zodiac positions of the planets, the horizon at your birthplace, twelve houses and the angular relationships called aspects. This tool shows the complete calculation before any interpretation. You can inspect the wheel and use the tables without learning every glyph first.

Birth details

Use the place’s time zone, such as Europe/Warsaw or America/Sao_Paulo. Keep the recorded clock time; do not adjust for summer time yourself.

One fixed download; the selected country or city is never sent in a request.

Place data: GeoNames geographical database,CC BY 4.0. Snapshot retrieved . The cities15000 directory does not include every settlement; manual coordinates and time zones remain available.

No name, email or account is needed. Your details stay on your device. Use the clear button to remove entered details and results.

How to use this tool

Enter the date and recorded local time of birth. Choose the birthplace from the optional place list, or enter its coordinates and IANA time zone manually. Leave the clock as it was recorded; the selected time zone accounts for daylight saving. If a clock time occurred twice, choose its first or second occurrence explicitly.

How to read the result

Start with the Sun, Moon and Ascendant, then inspect the other planets. Houses describe a traditional frame for reading positions, while aspects describe measured angles. Click through to the methods and guides when you need an explanation. A calculated position is a sky fact; a claim about personality or events would be an interpretation.

Method and limits

Supported dates are 1900–2099. Placidus is limited to latitudes below 66 degrees north or south; Whole Sign is an explicit alternative. Geographic poles are unsupported. Near-boundary values and the finite accuracy of the underlying engine require care. For a completely unknown time, use the existing Big Three unknown-time mode; for a known interval, use the birth-time range tool.

The calculation uses Astronomy Engine 2.1.19 and, where applicable, the project’s offline time-scale and house geometry modules. Mathematical positions and traditional interpretation remain separate.Read the full methodology.
