Personal transit calculator

Find exact major contacts between moving planets and your natal placements over a chosen period, including separate direct and retrograde contacts.

A transit compares a moving sky position with a fixed position in your birth chart. This tool searches for major angular contacts over the period you choose, instead of displaying a general horoscope for everyone with the same Sun sign.

Birth details

Use the place’s time zone, such as Europe/Warsaw or America/Sao_Paulo. Keep the recorded clock time; do not adjust for summer time yourself.

One fixed download; the selected country or city is never sent in a request.

Place data: GeoNames geographical database,CC BY 4.0. Snapshot retrieved . The cities15000 directory does not include every settlement; manual coordinates and time zones remain available.

No name, email or account is needed. Your details stay on your device. Use the clear button to remove entered details and results.

How to use this tool

Enter your recorded birth details, then choose the starting date and interval length. Moving Sun, Mercury, Venus, Mars and the outer planets are compared with all ten natal planets, the true North Node, Ascendant and Midheaven. Longer intervals take more work; calculation stays on your device and can be cleared.

How to read the result

Each row identifies the moving planet, natal planet, aspect and exact contact time. Direct and retrograde passes remain separate; a planet can revisit a similar contact during its apparent backward motion. Dates show calculated geometry and do not establish that a specific event will happen in your life.

Method and limits

The current search brackets exact contacts at six-hour intervals and refines detected crossings to one second. An exact tangency between samples is not guaranteed. Display precision is not a claim about ephemeris accuracy or the accuracy of the recorded birth time. A calendar entry is a reminder of a calculation, not a deadline for a personal decision.

The calculation uses Astronomy Engine 2.1.19 and, where applicable, the project’s offline time-scale and house geometry modules. Mathematical positions and traditional interpretation remain separate.Read the full methodology.
