An ephemeris is a table or dataset of calculated celestial positions for a sequence of times. It may include longitude, latitude, distance, apparent speed, phase, or other quantities, depending on its purpose.
An ephemeris is only reproducible when its time scale, coordinate frame, viewpoint, calculation source, version, and settings are known. Astrological calendars use such data to identify a transit, sign ingress, station, retrograde period, or calculated point such as a lunar node.
The dataset supplies positions and motion; it does not supply scientific evidence for a symbolic interpretation. Astrologican’s astronomy results come from deterministic software and independent reference comparisons, never from language-model output.
